Exploring The Human Body
Introduction
The systems of the human body:
Each of these systems consists of major parts that function to keep our whole body working. We are on our way to knowing and understanding how the human body works.
We are beginning the study of the human body's systems. You will be part of a team whose job is to thoroughly investigate one of the various body systems.

You are competing in a contest to have your project chosen to be on display at the school’s yearly science fair. In order to be chosen you need to become familiar with the human body’s systems.
Your task is to become familiar with one of the systems (that will be assigned by your teacher). You will work in groups of four. Your group will explore the system that has been assigned.
Requirements:
1. Describe the function(s) of your body system
2. Draw and label the major parts of your body system.
3. Name and describe three diseases, disorders, or problems that may occur with your body system and the cures or treatments that are available.
4. Find out at least five interesting facts about your body systems.
5. Develop a glossary of terms for your body system.
Process
You will be working in groups of four. There will be five parts to this assignment.

Throughout this Web Quest you have explored the main systems of the human body and their functions, as a result of your own exploring and that of your fellow classmates. Hopefully you have enjoyed your exploring of the human body.
Now you need to reflect on this assignment:

2. What information that you found has surprised you?
3. Which system is your favorite? Why?
